Community Resource Worker

 

• This is a school based program to work with students and parents.

• The program involves offering counseling or intervention services either at the school or in the home.

• In addition to these services, our Community Resource Worker, Bruce Somers,
  facilitates preventive programs and provides workshops on:

  • communicating & coping with your adolescent (ages 10 years and older)

  • challenges that our children are experiencing

  • suicide & anxiety

• Bruce also assists in locating outside services that are not readily available in our community.

• Referrals can be made directly to the school or through the Lord Selkirk School Division at the Student Services Centre.
